Extended Coverage may be available when devices leave the geographical areas of coverage of the Rogers network. As explained in the FAQs, when Extended Coverage is used certain services/features are not available or may have limited functionality. Extended Coverage is only intended for limited occasional use. Extended Coverage is available to select Rogers postpaid mobile customers with a compatible device and with data roaming enabled (for access to data services). 5G symbol shown when using a 5G device indicates 5G service available in surrounding local area successful connection to 5G network depends on various factors, including network system availability and capacity, customer’s equipment & operating system, signal strength, topography and environmental conditions.
